Compassionate Care. Genuine Connection. Meaningful Growth.
Our Story
The Therapy & Wellness Center began with a friendship.
More than ten years ago, Rebecca and Carrie met while working together at a rural nonprofit mental health agency. What began as a professional connection quickly grew into a lasting friendship grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and a common vision for what therapy could be.
From the very beginning, they believed that meaningful therapy is built on authentic human connection. It is compassionate, evidence-based, deeply collaborative, and honors each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
As their careers evolved, so did a shared dream—to create a practice that reflected these values and offered clients the kind of care they would want for the people they love most.
That dream became The Therapy & Wellness Center.
Built on trust, authenticity, and a genuine passion for helping others, The Therapy & Wellness Center is a place where people can slow down, feel understood, and discover new possibilities for growth.
Rebecca and Carrie believe lasting change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship—one where clients feel safe enough to explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
Looking back, they both agree that meeting each other was one of the greatest gifts to come from that season of their careers. Their friendship became the foundation of a practice rooted in warmth, integrity, and exceptional clinical care.
Today, they feel privileged to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges, transitions, and milestones. Every person's story is unique, and every person deserves a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.
We're so glad you're here, and we look forward to being part of your journey.

I believe meaningful therapy is grounded in deep empathy, authentic connection, and a genuine belief in every person's capacity for growth and healing. Lasting change happens when we have a safe space to make sense of our experiences, process emotional pain, and discover new ways of relating to ourselves and others. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel truly seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
Carrie Niles,
MA, LPCC
I hold a deep belief that meaningful change begins when clients feel genuinely seen and accepted. When inner experience is met with steady, thoughtful attention and empathy, there is often enough safety to begin looking more closely at feelings, memories, and patterns that have developed over time. I start from the premise that emotions are meaningful and understandable in the context of experiences, and we can become curious together about how strategies and beliefs have been shaped over time. From there, it becomes more possible to move from long‑standing survival strategies, often formed early in life and carried on quietly for years, toward new ways of knowing and relating to oneself that are less organized by fear and more grounded in self‑compassion.
