Grounded Care.
Meaningful Change.
Though life can undoubtedly feel overwhelming at times, you don’t have to navigate it alone. At The Therapy & Wellness Center, we believe healing begins in relationships—with ourselves, with others, and within a space where we feel safe enough to be fully seen and understood.

What We Do
We offer thoughtful, compassionate therapy for individuals, couples, and families seeking meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re managing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or lacking a sense of purpose, our aim is to help you deepen self-understanding, heal from what has shaped you, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and connection.
We recognize that every story is unique.
We offer a personalized, relational approach to therapy; one that honors your experiences, recognizes and builds on your strengths, and supports meaningful growth at a pace that feels right for you.
We work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational difficulties, major transitions, or questions about identity, self-worth, and relationships. Some arrive in the midst of a clear crisis; others come with the quieter sense that something in their lives has begun to feel misaligned.
Our work begins with attention: to your story, the relationships and experiences that have shaped you, and the patterns that may once have helped you cope but now feel limiting.
We bring warmth, curiosity, and clinical depth to the therapeutic relationship, creating a space where difficult experiences are approached with deep compassion and respect.
We have extensive experience working with trauma, recognizing and honoring its profound psychological and neurobiological impact, shaping emotion, memory, relationships, the nervous system, and sense of self. Our perspective is informed by psychodynamic, attachment-based, relational, and trauma-informed theories. We also draw from evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, somatic interventions, and mindfulness, selecting and integrating them thoughtfully in response to your history, needs, and goals.
Therapy offers an opportunity to develop a more spacious understanding of yourself, make sense of what you have lived through, and consider new ways of moving through the world—with greater wholeness and well-being.
Our Therapists
Rebecca Bowers,
MA, LMFT
I believe meaningful therapy is grounded in deep empathy, authentic connection, and a genuine belief in every person's capacity for growth and healing. Lasting change happens when we have a safe space to make sense of our experiences, process emotional pain, and discover new ways of relating to ourselves and others. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel truly seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
Carrie Niles,
MA, LPCC
I hold a deep belief that meaningful change begins when clients feel genuinely seen and accepted. When inner experience is met with steady, thoughtful attention and empathy, there is often enough safety to begin looking more closely at feelings, memories, and patterns that have developed over time. I start from the premise that emotions are meaningful and understandable in the context of experiences, and we can become curious together about how strategies and beliefs have been shaped over time.
What to Expect
Beginning therapy often brings a mix of uncertainty, hope, and questions about what to expect. From the outset, our priority is to offer a thoughtful, grounded environment in which you feel respected, supported, and understood as a whole person.
Together, we’ll clarify your goals, draw on the strengths and adaptations that have helped you so far, and work at a pace that respects you and your experience, limits, and readiness for change.
What emerges from this kind of work varies from person to person. Many clients describe developing a more coherent and compassionate sense of self, a clearer understanding of how past experiences influence present reactions, and relationships that feel more honest and workable. Over time, therapy can support more flexible emotional responses, greater confidence in your own perceptions and choices, and a more intentional way of living and connecting with others.
